Hossam Ali
Managing PartnerHossam has a wide experience in feasibility studies, valuation, corporate finance and Financial due diligence and currently is a managing director at ARC Capital.
Prior to that, he has been with PwC for 10 years advising local, regional, and international clients in the fields of financial services, Private equity, investment banking, security brokerage, energy, mining, agrifoods, cement, transportation, retail, dairy, steel manufacturing, petrochemicals, FMCGs and laboratories.
He has assessed the investment track record of a leading private equity firm in the Middle East and Africa with 19 opportunity specific Funds control Platform Companies with investments of US$ 9.5 billion in 15 industries and repeated the exercise for three constative times over the span of thee years. He was involved in the portfolio valuation of a New York based, SEC registered investment management company with investments of USD 1.64 billion worldwide.
He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the American University in Cairo and have completed the CVA.
Eslam Khedr
Managing Partner- Executive Investment & finance professional with 20+ year of experience range from accounting, IFRS reporting, audit and taxation to corporate finance, due diligence, valuation, operations and strategy teaming with International & Regional Private equity firms and strategic investors.
- Eslam has extensive experience across the deal continuum from deal sourcing to execution and closure. Managed to grow PwC Egypt Deals business to be the market leader, looking after Deals and corporate finance practice in PwC Egypt and Libya, and managed 180+ transactions across ME and Africa. He has been enrolled in the PwC ME future leaders two-year program.
- Eslam sits on the Board of Directors of Egyptian Arab Land Bank “EALB” as a none executive member and sit on the Investment Committee & Risk committee of EALB.
- Before to establishing Arc Capital, he has worked for 14+ years with PwC out of which 12 years with Deals Advisory & Corporate Finance in Cairo as an Executive Directors Leading Egypt & Libya, and he has participated in a number of global acquisitions by coordinating with other PwC firms worldwide.
- Eslam has undertaken a number of Due Diligence (Buy Side & Sell Side), Valuation and Investment Banking in several segments. Within his work with PwC, he has participated/led 180+ transactions/projects in Egypt, Middle East, Africa & Europe.
- He has worked and led projects in the FMCG & Food process, Retail & Consumers, manufacturing, Cement & Fertilizer, Oil & Gas & Petrochemical, Energy & Alternative Energy Real Estate, Healthcare, Logistic, Services, Pharma, Education & Financial Sector.
- Qualifications: B.A in Commerce, Cairo University and a degree in Law from Ain Shams University. ESAA, International Certified Valuation Analyst
Mostafa Elkaliouby
Managing Partner- Mostafa has 20 years of experience. Before establishing Arc Capital, he has worked for ten years with PwC Deals Advisory in Cairo, Dubai & Riyadh offices and seven years with KPMG Corporate Finance.
- He has been extensively involved in the preparation of valuation reports, feasibility studies and due diligence reviews for national and multinational companies and has developed extensive experience in corporate valuations and feasibility studies.
- Qualifications: MBA Banking and Finance, Maastricht School of Management, Master of International Business Law Cairo/Sorbonee University, International Certified Valuation Analyst.
Reem Badawy
Director- Reem is a Director in the Deals practice, has over 19 years of experience, 12 years of which is with PwC Deals & assurance team, two years with EY and five years with Deloitte.
- She is involved in managing various due diligence engagements for regional companies in Egypt and Middle East covering several industries including FMCG, Food sector, consumer industrial products, manufacturing services, retail and consumer goods and pharmaceutical. Reem led/worked in projects in FMCG & Food sector such as Egy Swiss Company “factory specialized in producing processed meat, fish and poultry products,” Royal Chocolate Company “Corona,” Farm Frits, Caravan Foods ” Bonjorno Café” and Chilantro.
- Qualifications: B.A in Commerce, Cairo University and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
